San Francisco, natural-artificial colors in Market st.
Though the street is full of vehicles, it seems to be without life. The scene is controlled by the machines and by the tall buildings. Trying to look behind the transparency of the glasses, it is impossible to find any person. You are unable to see even any human silhouette in the big truck in the foreground. I think there isn’t!
San Francisco, the world capital of technlology, has surpassed itself: mankind is mastered by the machines.
Reflex, transparency and volumes is obtained by the chromaticism. The chiaroscuro is nearly missing. The colors are the real subject of the painting.
This is the result of the research of a shoot in the perfect moment: perspective, lights, colors and vehicles positions are studied in detail.
