Madonna di Campiglio, a well-known locality in Trentino in Italy. Here you can get lost in the infinite space of the horizon. I've always wanted to paint a snowy mountain, this is the first painting ever, but a series will surely follow. I love to paint the contrast, and never as in this case is it so evident: the white of the snow in absolute opposition to the rock and the trees. In a way, the same contrast that I find in the foam of the rolling sea.
